On August 1, 2017, Mr. Harpal Dharna, Director, BizTech Institute Inc, Canada, in collaboration with Global Reach, Siliguri, presented an hour lecture to the Students of BBA and BCA of Salesian College, Siliguri Campus. Mr. Anirban Ghosh, Department of Management, introduced the speaker.
The topic of the day was ‘Education and Life in Canada.’ Besides talking about the various educational possibilities, he spoke about BizTech College, Canada with its various facilities that are modern and answering to the needs of the time. The speaker spoke elaborately on student-life culture and the support they receive from the different institutes in Canada. Among the various courses mentioned he specially talked about Nursing, IT, Accounting and Management. The interactive session was well appreciated by all the participants. The speaker appreciated the college magazine which was given as a memento with the vote of thanks.
Mr. Dharna carries many degrees to his name; Master in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto, Master in Business Administration from the University of Toronto, Certified General Accountant by CGA Association of Ontario and a Chartered Financial Planner, to mention a few.
